In efforts to combat domestic violence and provide support for victims and their families, The First Foundation has established a simple, yet comprehensive grant application process.
This process is designed to empower victims of abuse, offer healing and restoration, and break the cycle of generational predispositions to acceptance of domestic violence.
The Grant Application Process begins with:
Letter of Intent: The first step in the process is the submission of a Letter of Interest by potential grantees. This letter provides the foundation with a brief overview of the applicant's organization and how they plan to utilize the grant funds to support victims of domestic violence.
Letters of Intent are accepted from January 31 - February 27, annually.
Invite to apply: Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application detailing their project, budget, and expected outcomes.
Final review and Site Visits:
The next stage of the process involves a thorough review of all applications received, with grants awarded to deserving organizations that align with The First Foundation's mission and goals in ending domestic violence.
These grants play a crucial role in providing much-needed resources to support victims, educate communities, and prevent further instances of abuse.
For those interested in supporting The First Foundation's mission, we offers a user-friendly platform to make donations, access information on the Grant Application Process, inquire about partnerships, and learn about the foundation's initiatives.
As we approach our January 31 - February 27 application window for Letters of Intent (LOI), a template for Letters of Intent will be available.
Please contact us at admin@whenwefirstfoundation.org to be notified when the LOI template is available.
Additionally, the website serves as a hub for success stories, educational resources, and raising awareness on the important issue of domestic violence.
By engaging with The First Foundation and participating in the grant application process, individuals and organizations have the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the fight against domestic violence.
Together, we can work towards a future where relationships come first, and all love is free from the threat of abuse and violence.
